In an attempt to provide tourists with an alternative taste to the classical trekking in Pokhara, TAAN Western Regional Chapter Pokhara has devised the latest trekking route in Pokhara. Machhapuchhre Model Trek route stretches through seven of the most culturally rich villages where local people still adopt the traditional ways of living. Enjoy your journey through the rarely visited trekking destination which was chosen after discussion with Nepal Tourism Board. Immerse yourself in the close up views of natural pyramids including Machhapuchhre Mountain. Get the first hand experience of visualizing the diverse species of mammals, colorful birds and flowers. Pass through temples and monasteries and enjoy your stay in the house of locals with an opportunity to try the authentic local dishes that are finger licking good.
This trail provides an alternative to the conventional Annapurna Trekking Route. You can either develop it as a camping trek or you can contribute in developing the eco tourism by participating in our homestay packages in Machhapuchhre region. We recommend you to choose homestay package. Not only will you provide financial support to the locals but also you will get to have close up look into the culture and lifestyle by choosing homestay.
Milanchok, Gahachok, Dhiprang, Chichemle Kharka, Lalka, Ribhan and Lachok are some of the VDCs that you will explore by joining this trekking package.
