Helambu the Sherpa Land is one of the popular treks offered by Langtang Region.  Helambu, the Sherpa Land is positioned at northeast of Kathmandu Valley which takes only 72 kilometers. Helambu, the Sherpa Land is also known as Helambu Treks which is celebrated for its picturesque sumptuousness and amusing type of weather. Helambu, the Sherpa Land is counted as an easy trek as it does not entice elevated altitude. It lies amid 800 meter to 3,600 meter which is the sigh of fewer ascending and warm temperature. Helambu, the Sherpa Land is admired most of the trekkers as it is less crowed destination in comparison to Everest and Annapurna Region.

Helambu, the Sherpa Land is free from multitude but it has opened scope for ample sort of cultures and fantastic scenery. People might have queries regarding the popularity behind Helambu trek and the reason is  Helambu the Sherpa Land is termed as wonderful and short trek which is easily accessible from Kathmandu city. Likewise, it is expanded from Taramarang (north) to Gosaikunda Lake, Jugal Himal and dotted to the Malemchi Khola. This is the trek where trekkers are free to interact with the people of mountains called the Sherpas. Helambu, the Sherpa Land starts from Sundarijal, and then the next destination would be Shivapuri National Park. It will cover the beautiful destinations like Chisopani, charming Kutumsang, diverse Thadepati and finally Sermathang. Moreover,  Helambu, the Sherpa Land concludes at Melamchi Pul Bazar. The trail which takes the trekkers to  Helambu, the Sherpa land crosses the dense and grand mountain along with forest and marvelous Buddhist monasteries.
 
Outline Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in TIA Kathmandu
Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu and preparation
Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu for an hour and trek to Chisapani (2,300m) 4hrs
Day 04: Trek to Kutumsang (2,446m) 7hrs
Day 05: Trek to Tharepati (3,650m) 6hrs
Day 06: Trek to Tarkeghyang (2,560m) 6 hrs
Day 07: Trek to Shermathang (2,610m) 3-4 hrs
Day 08: Trek to Melamchi Bazzar 3-4 hrs and drive to Kathmandu 2 hrs
Day 09: Departure!!!!

Day 01: Arrival in TIA Kathmandu
On the first day upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu our team representative staff will already show his presence to greet you. From the airport you will transfer to the hotel. You will take some rest and then will be familiar with the detail itineraries. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu and preparation
Spending a night at Kathmandu you will wake up early in dawn so that you will cover maximum places of Kathmandu and if you are favored with time then will move to Bhaktapur and Patan as well. Our first priority is to show the Kathmandu Valley whose monuments are listed in World Heritage Sites just like Swyambhunath (Monkey temple), holy Pashupatinath, Bouddhanath and Patan Durbar square. This is the day for preparation as well so; you will manage all necessary things. Stay overnight at guesthouse.
 
Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu for an hour and trek to Chisapani (2,300m) 4hrs
On the next day you will take a drive from Kathmandu which takes 1 hour then you will make your way to Sundarijal. From Sundarijal (1,350m) you will start the trek heading towards Chisapani. Chisapani is situated at an altitude of 2,300 meter so it takes 4 hours of trek. There you will explore Shivapuri National Park along with Tamang people. Stay overnight at guesthouse. 

Day 04: Trek to Kutumsang (2,446m) 7hrs
On the following day you will have your breakfast as soon as possible so that you can move to Kutumsang which is positioned at 2,446 meter. Altogether it takes 7 hours of extensive trek which formally begins after passing from meadows. You will have pleasure from splendid observation of the Langtang Mountains. Taking downward from Gul Bhanjyang the trail will take you to Kutumsang. Stay overnight at guesthouse.

Day0 5: Trek to Tharepati (3,650m) 6hrs
Spending lovely night at Kutumsang today you will move to Tharepati which is standing at 3,650 meter. You will take ascend through Rhododendron. Then, the trek will carry on to Yurin Danda which will offer brilliant vistas of high Himalayas. At last you will reach Tharepati taking 6 hours. Stay overnight art guesthouse.

Day 06: Trek to Tarkeghyang (2,560m) 6 hrs
This is the day where you will head to Tarkeghyang which is standing at 2,560 meter. The trek to Tarkeghyang demands 6 hours where you will move downward by passing Melamchi Khola.  Tarkeghyang will take you through the Sherpa settlements. This is the village which is renowned as Helmbu. Stay overnight at guesthouse.

Day 07: Trek to Shermathang (2,610m) 3-4 hrs
On the following day you will set the trail towards Shermathang which is located at 2,610 meter. On this day you will not approach higher altitude so it will make the trek easier for you. From Gangyul you will find the trail to Shermathang where you will get to see Buddhist monastery, the utmost spot of the village. Stay overnight at guesthouse.

Day 08: Trek to Melamchi Bazzar 3-4 hrs and drive to Kathmandu 2 hrs
This is the last day of the trek. You will take downward step to Malemchi Pul Bazaar. This is the village where Sherpa people have shown their majority but there are other ethnic people staying over there too. Moving further you will take the bus at Bazaar which will take you to Kathmandu. Stay overnight at guesthouse.

Day 09: Departure!!!!
Officially getting done with the tour package it’s time to say good bye. So taking the breakfast you will be transferred into the Tribhvan International Airport, Kathmandu by our team representative in a private van.
