Ghandruk village is a popular village and also an amazing trekking destination for the adventure seekers and travelers from across the world who wants to explore the popular region of Annapurna. The region of Annapurna is located in the western part of the country and has been a popular destination for Trekking in Nepal over the years. Ghandruk Village Trekking in the foothills of Annapurna offers a complete package for trekking in Nepal and also for natural sightseeing. The trek offers the trekkers with the picturesque view of Mount Machhapuchre surrounded by dense rhododendron forests, full of birds and deep sub-tropical valleys.
One of the major highlights of Ghandruk trekking is Ghandruk village situated at an altitude of 2012 meters above sea level. It offers an excellent view of Annapurna South, Machhapuchhre and Himalchuli, among other peaks.

At the climax of this trekking, you will climb Poon Hill and enjoy one of the most spectacular mountain views on earth. The village of Ghandruk is inhabited mostly by Gurung people. They are one of the major ethnic groups of Nepal having their own tradition and culture. Ghandruk Village Trekking is appropriate for the children as well as the older ones as it doesn't entail much walking day and ascents to higher altitude.
Ghandruk Village Trekking is a 7 days trekking itinerary package with the ‘Emerging Nepal’ which starts off with a scenic drive to Pokhara from the Capital City of Kathmandu. It will take around six hours to reach Pokhara City and your real trekking starts from the next day onwards. The trekking is moderate and the best time for the trekking is the months of September, October and November.

Day 03: Trek to Ghandruk (1940m)
Day 04: Trek to Pothana (1990m)
Day 05: Trek to Dhampus Phedi (1113m), Drive to Pokhara
Day 06: Drive to Kathmandu
Day 07: Departure from Kathmandu

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
On the first day of the itinerary, our representatives will pick you up at the Airport upon your arrival and you will then be transferred to the Hotel. Our representatives will then brief you in short about the travel itinerary. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 02: Flight to Pokhara, drive to Nayapul, trek to Syauli Bazaar
On the second day of the itinerary, you will have breakfast in the morning at the Hotel and you will catch a morning flight to Pokhara from the domestic terminal in Kathmandu. After thirty minutes of flight, you will then be transferred to Hotel where you can have lunch and start your trip. An hour of drive from Pokhara will take you to Nayapaul, the starting point of the trek and after that you will trek until Syauli Bazaar, the destination for the day.

Day 03: Trek to Ghandruk (1940m)
 The destination on the third day is the wonderful Gurung village of Ghandruk. You will start your trek in the morning and walk for around four hours, enjoying the walk along the local villages and jungles. There is a handicraft centre and Gurung museum. Once you reach Ghandruk, the village offers great views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Gangapurna (7455m.), Annapurna III (7755m) and Fishtail Mountain. Overnight stay at a guesthouse in Ghandruk. You can even have a cultural evening upon request.

Day 04: Trek to Pothana (1990m)
On this day, the trekkers will be heading towards the village of Pothana. The first part of our trek is quite steep until you reach Kimbu. Kimbu is situated at the elevation of 1200 meters on the bank of Modi Khola. One has to ascend following the stone staircase to reach Landruk village. The trail ascends gently for nearly two hours and again ascends steeply for an hour to Deurali (2150m.) After having lunch in Deurali you will walk for more time and finally reach Pothana. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.

Day 05: Trek to Dhampus Phedi (1113m),Drive to Pokhara
It will take around four hours on the fifth day for you to trek from Pothana to Dhampus Phedi. The trail descends gradually for at least an hour and follows gravel road for two hours and then descends to Phedi passing through Dhampus village. After arriving at Dhampus Phedi, you will then take a vehicle and drive to reach Pokhara. Overnight stay at a Hotel in Pokhara.

Day 06: Drive to Kathmandu
On the second last day of the itinerary, you will return back to Kathmandu from Pokhara enjoying the scenic drive along the Prithvi Highway. After around seven hours of drive, you will arrive in Kathmandu and you will then be transferred back to the Hotel. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 07: Departure from Kathmandu
On the last day of the itinerary, you will be transferred to the Tribhuvan International Airport from where you will catch a flight to your home country.
