The trail also passes through thinly inhabited settlement areas, through the local villages, the people and their indigenous culture. The word Annapurna, it is believed, originates from the Sanskrit word meaning ‘goddess of the harvests’.
Annapurna Base Camp Trek with the Emerging Nepal begins from the beautiful lake city of Pokhara. You will reach Pokhara either by drive or flight from.

The maximum altitude the trekkers have to climb during the trek is around 4210 meters which is equal to the altitude of the Annapurna Base Camp.
